Minnesota woman gives birth to ultra rare mono mono twins

Only 1 in 250 pregnancies is identical twins. What's even rarer is something called mono mono twins; those happen in 1 in 10,000 pregnancies. We met a Minneapolis family proving the odds can be against you and with you at the very same time.

I knew mono-mono was rare, but I didn't know how rare.

My sister in law had mono-mono twins, with twin transfusion syndrome, over 30 years ago.

The larger was almost twice as big at birth, and has stayed bigger, but they both turned out just fine.
